Are you an experienced Health and Safety Manager from a construction background, based in the London/South East area and looking for an exciting new career opportunity?

Do you want to work for a growing ambitious business? They are currently involved in a number of high-profile construction projects in and around the city.

LDNY People are currently working with a medium-sized, growing construction business, which currently turns over approximately £20 million with ambitious growth plans. They work in partnership with some of the country's leading developers, and their projects are generally high-end residential and office developments.

They are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Manager to oversee all aspects of H&S across various sites.

Health and Safety Manager Responsibilities:

1. Experienced Construction Health and Safety Manager, overseeing health, safety, and environmental management across multiple construction sites in and around London.
2. Site-based construction experience, ideally from a construction, civils, groundworks, or landscaping background.
3. A key member of the senior leadership team, driving H&S culture and processes across the company with an eye on future growth.
4. Conduct risk assessments and safety audits across multiple sites to raise awareness around health and safety and promote an accident-free workplace.
5. Monitor and review safety performance, investigate near misses, accidents, incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
6. Develop and deliver training programs to site-based teams, ensuring safety standards and protocols are adhered to.
7. Ensure robust reporting procedures and strategies are in place.

About You:

• You will currently be working as a Health and Safety Manager within the construction sector on large developments; this is essential.
• NEBOSH qualification at a minimum; GradIOSH or CMIOSH would be beneficial but not mandatory.
• Capable of reviewing, implementing, and managing health and safety plans across multiple sites, with a strategic view for long-term growth.
• Strong understanding of current HSE regulations and awareness of legislative changes.
• A proactive, visible presence on site with a 'can-do' attitude, able to drive and enforce health and safety standards.
• A full UK driving license.
• Based within a daily commutable distance to London.
