We’re on the lookout for a talented, passionate, and people-focused Health and Safety Manager to support our Assets, Growth, and Development Operations teams in delivering a best-in-class safety service and culture. Our diverse portfolio includes over 50,000 homes, stretching from Hereford in the west to Lincolnshire in the east of the Midlands, as well as a range of housing schemes and new build developments.
In this exciting new role, you will be part of a high profile, high performing Health and Safety team working closely with colleagues and managers to support the delivery of robust Health and Safety controls and embed a strong safety culture across our Assets, Growth and Development teams, housing stock, schemes regeneration and new build developments.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health and Safety, you’ll drive and support the delivery of health and safety excellence across the Assets, Growth and Development Operations teams. This includes leading inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with construction and workplace safety standards.
You will deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety communications, while monitoring systems, behaviours, and data to drive continuous improvement across our homes, schemes, and developments. You’ll also ensure construction safety controls are in place, including CDM management and site safety and welfare requirements. In addition, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that lone working procedures, PPE, driving for work, scheme facilities, first aid, and fire safety equipment are compliant with required standards and controls.

Some things we need from you:
While this role is home-based, you’ll regularly travel to Group offices and other locations to conduct inspections, site checks, and toolbox talks as needed.
