Health and Safety Manager

Salary £40-45k

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and Quality, this H&S Manager role will be instrumental in driving the manufacturing site forward with a structured, proactive roadmap for the development of the Health and Safety function.

Having worked in fast-paced manufacturing environments, you will appreciate the importance of implementing, managing, and monitoring relevant Health and Safety KPIs. The role will focus on identifying gaps and working with the team and EHS advisors to improve SOPs and stay ahead of legislation and standards.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead Health & Safety by developing and delivering new policies and procedures.
• Identify gaps and centralize SOPs across the site and support other UK and international sites.
• Lead H&S audits and promote best practices, driving change.

What we need from you:

• Experience leading Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment.
• A NEBOSH General Certificate or higher in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent), with knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Attention to detail, gap analysis skills, and commercial awareness.
