Job summary

StoneSafe Talent is recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a construction business based in Walsall, West Midlands. This permanent, full-time role offers up to £65,000 package including a car or car allowance, with regular UK-wide site visits.

You will lead Health & Safety across multiple projects, conduct inspections, review RAMS and policies, investigate incidents and deliver toolbox talks, while supporting ISO systems and senior management. NEBOSH qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required.
• Experience in construction or specialist contracting.
• Good understanding of construction risks.
• Confident engaging with site teams and senior management.
• Practical, commercially aware and able to work independently.
• Experience in refurbishment, maintenance, M&E or specialist contracting is advantageous.

StoneSafe Talent is supporting an established construction business with the recruitment of a Health & Safety Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety professional who enjoys being hands-on, working closely with operational teams and having the freedom to make a genuine difference. Our client is looking for someone practical, approachable and commercially aware who can take ownership of Health & Safety and drive improvements across the business.

The Role

Location & Travel

The role is based in Walsall, with regular UK-wide site visits, typically 1-2 days per week.
