Job summary

Green Folk is seeking a Health & Safety Manager based in Birmingham to lead H&S across regional projects, ensuring compliance and driving continual safety improvements. You will partner with project and operations teams to promote a strong safety culture and deliver wellbeing initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 NVQ, IOSH/IIRSM membership, substantial construction H&S experience, and superb communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 NVQ in Occupational Health & Safety.
• IOSH or IIRSM membership.
• Significant H&S experience within the construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and industry best practice.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Health & Safety Manager

The Role

As Health & Safety Manager, you will work closely with project and operational teams, providing expert guidance on all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing. You will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement across multiple sites.

We're looking for an experienced construction health & safety professional who can engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

You'll ideally have:
