Health and Safety Manager

Sevenoaks | £45,000- £50,000 + Benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a well-established energy services company to recruit a Health and Safety manager. The company is a multi-million pound turnover business with 50 years of operation, working on high-end commercial and domestic properties throughout the UK.

This role will cover sites across the London and South East region and is joining a growing health and safety team.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager will include:

• Working with the health and safety team and senior management, ensuring the health and safety management system is implemented successfully
• Visiting sites, auditing health and safety performance and acting as the key point of contact on health and safety
• Accurately reporting on health and safety performance and communicating this across the organisation
• Investigating major accidents and incidents

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar health and safety position ideally within construction, utilities, or civil engineering
• Experience managing health and safety on sites
• NEBOSH General (or equivalent)
• A pragmatic approach to safety and the ability to engage and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
