Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide expert advice and support to ensure our site complies with health, safety, and environmental legislation. Your leadership will drive standardization and foster a culture of safety, enabling us to achieve our objectives while safeguarding our employees and operations.

Responsibilities

1. Provide Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) advice, guidance, and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
2. Drive business standardization and assist with adherence to the Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and other relevant policies.
3. Meet annual Safety, Health, and Environmental objectives, assessed via the performance management system.
4. Assist management in understanding their Health and Safety responsibilities.
5. Ensure timely completion of accident investigations and implement actions to prevent recurrence.

Candidate Requirements

• Stakeholder management and influence skills are essential.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience in health and safety responsibilities within warehouse and transport environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Ability to develop and deliver improvement plans.
