Overview

HSE Leader – Nottinghamshire / Leicestershire area. Package negotiable - £65k + benefits as a guide.

Our recruitment team is supporting a well-established industrial group in the search for an experienced HSE Leader. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving health, safety and environmental standards across multiple UK sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of robust HSE strategies across multiple UK sites, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and ISO standards while fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee audits and inspections; manage incident investigations; deliver practical improvements that enhance site performance and reduce risk.
• Provide guidance, coaching and strategic direction to local HSE teams to maintain the highest standards across the group.

Qualifications

• Proven HSE professional with senior management experience in manufacturing, recycling or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental regulations; NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.

Location

Based in the Nottinghamshire area with regular travel to UK sites in the Leicestershire area.
