A major UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Manager to lead all health and safety aspects on a flagship data centre project based in High Wycombe.

This is a key position within a highly respected business known for delivering complex, high-value builds across the UK and Europe. You’ll take ownership of all site-based H&S activity, working closely with site leadership and the wider project team to maintain a best-in-class safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead health and safety on a major data centre construction project
• Develop and implement project-specific H&S strategies and procedures
• Monitor and report on all site safety compliance, incidents, and improvements
• Provide guidance and training to site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Engage with client representatives and support regular audits and inspections

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong background working for a main contractor in a site-based H&S leadership role
• Ideally, previous experience on data centre projects or within the industrial & logistics (I&L) sector
• Relevant health and safety qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.)
• Proactive, communicative, and passionate about high safety standards
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with wider teams
