The Company

This organisation is one of the leading engineering and construction companies in the UK, providing specialist building, civil engineering, and rail expertise to various markets. They offer a truly integrated service to clients, with proven experience and successful project delivery across industries such as commercial, industrial, education, rail infrastructure and depots, airports, waste, and energy. Key duties will include:

1. Being responsible for Health and Safety on site and promoting a "Safety first" culture.
2. Providing training and guidance on HSQE matters across the site.
3. Ensuring timely close-out of actions from audits, inspections, accidents, and incidents.
4. Monitoring and facilitating compliance with the management system and the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001, and BS OHSAS 45001.

About You

You will be an experienced Health and Safety professional within the construction sector. This role involves working on MOD sites; therefore, you must be able to obtain Security Clearance. The role involves resurfacing runways at various MOD sites across the UK, so experience with Asphalt Concrete or Pavement Quality Concrete (PQC) is essential.

You will hold a NEBOSH qualification. The organisation seeks someone willing to travel across projects in Leicestershire, Oxfordshire, Norfolk, and Lincolnshire. Accommodation costs will be covered if you choose to stay overnight at these locations to reduce travel.

Salary up to £60k + company car or allowance, subsistence, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension scheme, and support for further education and membership funding.
