Are you a dedicated Health and Safety professional looking for your next challenge?

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well–established facilities services provider for a Health and Safety Manager to take the lead in driving a positive safety culture across diverse sites and operations.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward–thinking company where you ll play a key role in shaping and maintaining robust H&S systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and sustain robust health and safety management systems.
  • Perform routine risk assessments and safety audits across all sites and operations.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable health and safety laws and industry best practices.
  • Offer expert health and safety advice and support to operational teams and leadership.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and near–misses, driving effective corrective measures.
  • Facilitate engaging health and safety training sessions for employees at all levels.
  • Maintain detailed records and generate regular reports on health and safety performance.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, insurers, and certification agencies.
  • Promote and embed a strong safety culture across the organization
  • Assist the Head of Compliance with strategic health and safety planning and policy formulation.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Essential).
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience in a health and safety role, preferably within Facilities Management or Construction (other backgrounds will be considered depending on experience).
  • Strong understanding of current H&S legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem–solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and H&S management software.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent higher qualification (Desirable).
  • IOSH membership.
  • Internal auditing qualifications (ISO 45001/18001, 9001, 14001) (Desirable).
  • Fire safety or first aid qualifications.

  • Salary: Paying up to GBP50,000 (DOE) + Discretionary bonus.
  • Monday to Friday 9am 5pm (flexible working hours due to travel).
