Job description

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and maintaining HSE systems to ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and international industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of company health, safety, across the site
  • Develop and maintain HSE procedures and drive their adoption across all teams.
  • Ensure plant compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously review and update HSE policies and risk assessments.
  • Support the maintenance of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications, and assist with ISO 45001 and ASI certifications.
  • Provide HSE support and coaching to team members and management.
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and track resolutions.
  • Manage HSE data systems, records, and documentation.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience in health and safety roles, preferably in a managerial or supervisory capacity within manufacturing/engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate safety protocols clearly to staff at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and assess safety risks through data analysis.
  • Leadership: Proven capability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring safety compliance.
  • Desired:
    • Environmental qualification is beneficial.
    • Experience managing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 is desirable.
