Health and Safety Lead – Construction – Midlands / North

Salary: £80-85k + Package

Duration: 12 month FTC

Start: ASAP

Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional who thrives on making a real impact? We’re working with a well-renowned Construction who are looking for an Health and Safety Lead to support their business for a 12 month FTC covering their Midlands and North regions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to drive meaningful change and support a busy operational environment with a strong focus on collaborative health and safety improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend monthly leadership meetings
  • Work closely with on-site teams to positively influence H&S culture
  • Undertake operational site visits with the operational health and safety team
  • Responsible for a team of operational Health and Safety Advisors
  • Continued improvements and influencing of organisational health and safety culture
  • Continual movement of health and safety strategy and management system across the business

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent as a minimum
  • Proven experience in a similar H&S leadership role within the Construction sector
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Have experience managing a team of direct reports
  • Be flexible to travel within a large regional role
  • Ability to engage teams at all levels and lead by example
