Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant based in Rochdale. You will conduct audits, run fire risk and COSHH assessments, and investigate incidents across a diverse client portfolio including local authorities and industrial sites.

The role requires travel to client sites and delivering training, with a strong emphasis on technical accuracy and client service. The ideal candidate will hold NEBOSH General and/or Fire qualifications, Level 4 Fire Risk

• Strong industry knowledge in health and safety and fire risk.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety audits across client sites.
• Perform fire risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
• Lead accident and near-miss investigations.
• Review and amend safety plans as needed.
• Implement new health and safety management systems on sites.
• Provide detailed technical advice to clients and answer queries.
• Deliver health and safety / fire safety training courses for clients.
• Manage client relationships to meet targets.

Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £30k - £55k + Training & Benefits

They are seeking a highly knowledgeable and qualified Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant, who is able to efficiently articulate technical matters directly to clients. Experience / Qualifications:

• Strong track record working as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant
• Will ideally hold: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 Fire Risk Diploma, Level 3 in Fire Risk Assessing, CMIOSH and / or IFE
• Excellent industry technical knowledge
• Adaptable to client travel requirements
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Professional manner
• Experience working across a range of client premises
