Job summary

Future Select Recruitment seeks a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant to deliver expert assessments and advisory services across a varied client base in the North West. The role combines site audits, risk assessments and training with a strong emphasis on practical, actionable safety solutions.

The successful candidate will hold relevant NEBOSH qualifications (General and/or Fire) and other senior fire risk credentials, with a proven track record and readiness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Strong track record as a Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant.
• NEBOSH General and/or Fire and related fire risk qualifications are preferred.
• Excellent industry knowledge and ability to explain technical matters to clients.
• Able to travel to client sites as required.
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Professional and client‑facing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety audits across client sites.
• Perform fire risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
• Investigate accidents and near‑misses.
• Review and amend safety plans as needed.
• Implement new health and safety management systems on client sites.
• Provide detailed technical advice to clients and answer queries.
• Deliver health and safety / fire safety training courses.
• Maintain strong client relationships and work to targets.

Job Title: Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant

Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: 30k - 55k + Training & Benefits

They are seeking a highly knowledgeable and qualified Health and Safety / Fire Risk Consultant, who is able to efficiently articulate technical matters directly to clients. • Will ideally hold: NEBOSH General, NEBOSH Fire, Level 4 Fire Risk Diploma, Level 3 in Fire Risk Assessing, CMIOSH and / or IFE
• Excellent industry technical knowledge
• Adaptable to client travel requirements
• Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Professional manner
• Experience working across a range of client premises

The Role:

• Conducting thorough health and safety audits across client sites
• Performing fire risk assessments and COSHH assesssments
• Accident and near-miss investigations
