Overview

Location: Unipol Student Homes, 155-157 Woodhouse Lane, Leeds LS2 3ED.

This is a 12-month fixed-term role based on the university campus, with scope for hybrid working. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Role

Would you like to play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our offices and property portfolio? The Health and Safety Coordinator role involves coordinating health and safety and compliance inspections and routines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all compliance checks are up to date. The successful candidate will work closely with the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager and the Operations Team to coordinate documentation, training records, incident reporting, and compliance monitoring. The Health and Safety Coordinator will provide essential support in maintaining a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate health and safety and compliance inspections and routines
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all compliance checks are up to date
  • Work closely with the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager and the Operations Team to coordinate documentation, training records, incident reporting, and compliance monitoring
  • Support the maintenance of a strong safety culture within the organisation
Qualifications
  • Experience in an administrative role, preferably within a health and safety or property management environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital record-keeping systems
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently and foster a culture of safety and compliance
