As a Health and Safety Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping safety, health, environment, and quality standards at our state-of-the-art Technology and Development Centre. What You Will Do
  1. Implement and adapt corporate SHEQ policies and procedures to meet UK regulatory requirements and local operational needs.
  2. Develop and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work, ensuring compliance for both on-site and off-site activities.
  3. Act as a trusted adviser and coach to the site team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in SHEQ performance.
  4. Coordinate and monitor contractor activities, ensuring safe execution of work both on-site and off-site.
  5. Maintain and update the site emergency plan, organising exercises and follow-up actions to ensure readiness.
  6. Organise and deliver engaging training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programmes, keeping training records up to date.
What You Will Bring
  1. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a SHEQ-related field, with at least three years of relevant experience.
  2. A recognised qualification such as a NEBOSH Certificate in health, safety, or environment.
  3. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining SHEQ procedures in alignment with UK legislation.
  4. Familiarity with engineering safety, including high-pressure systems, technical drawings, and flow diagrams.
  5. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a positive safety culture through coaching and collaboration.
