TGR Haas F1 Team in Banbury is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator to help maintain a safe, compliant working environment. You will manage the H&S system, run risk assessments, oversee contractor safety, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a strong background in UK H&S, NEBOSH certification, and experience with reporting, audits and safety communications. A proactive, detail‑oriented professional will thrive in this fast-paced motorsport setting.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Maintain the Health & Safety Management System, keeping policies, registers and records current.
• Monitor compliance with UK legislation and company standards; identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Coordinate risk assessments, COSHH and ergonomic reviews.
• Review RAMS and Permit to Work requirements; conduct contractor safety inspections.
• Carry out safety inspections and audits; track findings to closure.
• Coordinate accident, incident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
• Maintain compliance trackers and the training matrix; coordinate mandatory training.
• Deliver H&S inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications to staff and contractors.
• Produce H&S KPI and compliance reports to highlight risks and trends.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team in Banbury, helping maintain and continuously improve a safe, compliant working environment.

What You'll Do

• Maintain the Health & Safety Management System, ensuring policies, procedures, registers and records remain current and effective.
• Monitor compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and company standards, identifying gaps and supporting improvements.
• Coordinate risk assessments, COSHH assessments, safe systems of work, DSE assessments and ergonomic reviews.
• Review contractor RAMS and competency information, coordinate Permit to Work requirements and carry out contractor safety inspections.
• Carry out workplace Health & Safety inspections and audits, tracking findings and corrective actions through to closure.
• Coordinate accident, incident and near-miss reporting and investigations, helping identify root causes and preventative actions.
• Maintain compliance trackers and the Health & Safety training matrix, coordinating mandatory and refresher training.
• Deliver and coordinate H&S inductions, toolbox talks and safety awareness activities, while providing practical guidance to employees, managers and contractors.
• Produce H&S KPI and compliance reports, highlighting key risks, trends and outstanding actions, and support wider safety improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 5 years' experience in a relevant Health & Safety role.
• NEBOSH National General Certificate, or an equivalent recognised Health & Safety qualification.
• Good working knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience in contractor Health & Safety management, including reviewing RAMS and Permit to Work requirements.
• Experience with risk assessments, COSHH, audits and incident investigations.
• Working knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and Working at Height requirements.
• Internal audit or incident investigation training.
• Strong document control and record-management skills, with the ability to maintain compliance trackers, dashboards and action logs.
• Confidence producing reports, presentations and safety communications, with experience using Microsoft Office and relevant H&S, compliance or CAFM systems.

It Would Be an Advantage If You Also Have

• Experience within a motorsport, engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience delivering Health & Safety inductions and toolbox talks.
