Health and Safety Consultant

A hybrid role, with combined homeworking and national travel.

Location: Flexible, ideally with good access to motorway links and Central England.

Assured Safety Recruitment presents an opportunity for Health and Safety professionals with food manufacturing experience. You will join a Health and Safety Consultancy that partners with many of the UK's leading food brands and is known for providing innovative and high-impact services. As the business expands, they are seeking passionate Health, Safety, and Environment professionals to join their growing team.

The role includes:

  • A comprehensive induction and training plan; previous consultancy experience is not required.
  • Conducting HSE audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Developing and implementing tailored Health and Safety policies and procedures for clients.
  • Providing consultancy and training on Health, Safety, and Environment standards, risk management, and emergency preparedness.
  • Collaborating with client teams to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.
  • Delivering engaging training sessions and workshops to enhance staff knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment principles.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and emerging trends to ensure client compliance.
  • Supporting clients in developing a safety culture and awareness.

About you:

  • You have experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • You are qualified to Nebosh Diploma Level 6 or equivalent.
  • You possess strong communication skills.
  • You are a confident and engaging trainer.
  • You are comfortable working in diverse environments.
  • You are UK-based with a valid UK driving license.
  • You can work flexibly and accommodate overnight stays.
