Shirley Parsons has exclusively partnered with an established consultancy that is seeking a Health and Safety Consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Health and Safety services to mainly SME businesses across client sites in the Midlands. This is a home-based role requiring regional travel to client locations.

Position Details:

• Location: West Midlands, United Kingdom
• Type: Permanent
• Salary: £38,000 to £45,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance and benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering Health and Safety services such as Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments, audits, reporting, and training.
• Acting as the "Competent Person" for your client portfolio.
• Ensuring smooth progression of client matters and timely responses to queries.
• Proposing and communicating service improvements to the Regional Manager.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in Health and Safety and Fire Risk Assessments within consultancy or various sectors.
• Diploma or degree-level qualification in Health and Safety preferred.
• Membership with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to develop excellent working relationships.
