A leading health and safety consultancy is seeking a Health & Safety Consultant. This role is home-based and primarily covers East Midlands to North London. The ideal candidate will have relevant H&S qualifications, including NEBOSH General Certificate and experience in client relationship management. We are seeking a home-based Health and Safety Consultant covering primarily East Midlands down to North London. Ideal locations include Cambridge, Peterborough, Northampton, or areas further south near North London, with some flexibility for ad hoc travel or overnight stays.

Package: A competitive package including a basic salary of circa £45k depending on experience and qualifications, potential commission, car allowance, pension, and other benefits.

You will work with clients across various sectors within your area, providing health and safety advice to ensure compliance with UK legislation. A strong background in H&S, relevant qualifications, and knowledge of industry standards are essential. You will support employers with practical and commercial advice on H&S issues.
You should have a strong H&S background with relevant qualifications. Preferred qualifications include:
Fire qualification is essential; diploma preferred. Additional specialisms like environmental or DSEAR are desirable. Minimum requirements include NEBOSH General/NCRQ/NVQ Level 3, TechIOSH membership, and fire safety certification. Ideally, you have at least two years of frontline H&S experience and are familiar with Microsoft 365 and auditing software.
Support colleagues proactively, maintain a professional image, assist in business development, share knowledge, deliver training, and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Travel within your area and occasionally stay overnight as needed.
