Job description

HSE Recruitment Network is collaborating with a growing consultancy seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Consultant to join their team.

The company is based in Yorkshire and primarily serves clients in the region. However, due to diversification in sector and geography, the successful candidate should be based in Yorkshire but open to UK-wide travel.

Working alongside the team and under the supervision of a Lead Health and Safety Consultant, you will receive support from an experienced team while maintaining the autonomy to lead client-facing activities.

What we are looking for

1. A strong, capable, and credible candidate, particularly skilled in client-facing roles and communication.
2. An individual with a diverse background, preferably in consultancy, servicing a range of clients. Experience in manufacturing would be advantageous.
3. Experience delivering training (e.g., DSEAR, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, H&S Culture Change). Developing training programmes is a plus but not essential.
4. Board-level H&S experience, including CDM projects.
5. Experience in auditing client systems, identifying issues, and problem-solving.
6. Minimum NEBOSH Certificate level qualification.

Salary and package

£40,000 - £50,000 DOE, plus car allowance. Benefits include meal and travel allowances, private healthcare, pension contributions (up to 5%), and training and development opportunities.
