A leading company in manufacturing is seeking a Health and Safety Co-ordinator for a fixed term contract. This role involves working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to promote safety culture and ensure compliance with UK legislation. The position offers potential for a permanent role as the team grows.
Health and Safety Co-ordinator – Fixed Term Contract
Based at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, this role will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager on a variety of key projects. You will play a vital role in promoting a strong safety culture across the business while ensuring ongoing legal compliance and maintaining accurate documentation.
This position is offered on a six-month rolling contract, with the option of being fixed term or paid on an hourly rate. As the team continues to grow, there is a strong possibility that the role could lead to a permanent position.
You will need a background in Health & Safety co-ordination, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment, along with a solid understanding of current UK H&S legislation and best practice.
The role is based in Huntingdon, and you must be able to commute to the site on a daily basis.
