Health and Safety Apprentice Full Time – site based

At The Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE), we are excited to announce an opening for a Health & Safety Apprentice to join our team with main offices in Puddledock (Blackfriars, London).

You will be providing effective support to the Health & Safety team, data, periodic reporting, trend analysis, and identifying opportunities for improvement on the SRE Route Collaboration contract.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. To support the collation and input of data and its integrity on company.
  2. To support data provision in accordance with programmed timescales from data.
  3. To support production and dissemination of HS documentation.
  4. Provide support to the HSEQ team in any administration.
  5. To study towards your Apprenticeship (Safety, health and environment technician Level 3 OR Risk and safety management professional Level 7 depending on experience).
Requirements
  1. Educated to GSCE Level standard or equivalent including English.
  2. Good interpersonal skills with the ability and self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally at all levels.
  3. Ability to produce accurate work of consistently high quality, within tight deadlines.
  4. A keen interest in learning and Health and Safety.
  5. Driving license a plus but not necessary. Candidates need to be prepared to travel between Sussex, Wessex, and Kent on occasion to support the H&S Team on various sites (expenses and mileage reimbursed).
