Job Description:

• Full Time, Permanent
• Hybrid working, 3 days per week
• Located in Staffordshire

Purpose

Responsible for planning, facilitating, and reporting on all activities within the Health & Safety remit, while closely interacting with all stakeholders and internal teams.

Job Role

• Support the Quality and Environmental team as the site HSE Advisor to ensure full implementation and adherence to company H&S policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice, including ISO45001.
• Maintain and review RAMS for all projects at least annually.
• Investigate non-compliances, accidents, incidents, and near misses, using appropriate problem-solving tools.
• Compile weekly, monthly, and annual H&S reports and awareness bulletins.
• Attend educational conferences, review publications, and establish professional networks to maintain technical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive positive safety culture changes.
• Collaborate with the QHSE Manager and Senior Leadership to embed Health and Safety strategies.
• Oversee H&S risk management, regulatory compliance, and maintain relationships with regulators.
• Implement H&S improvements supporting sustainable program delivery.
• Support training activities, develop training materials, and source external training.
• Conduct internal and legal compliance audits to high standards.

Qualifications / Skills Required

• Experience in a HSE Advisory role within large or complex organizations.
• Knowledge of management systems such as ISO 45001 and 14001.
• Experience in multi-site, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Ability to navigate fast-paced, regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and experience implementing H&S management systems.
