Health & Safety Advisor

Position: Permanent

Are you a health & safety professional based in East Lothian seeking an opportunity to grow and develop your career? We are working with a business specializing in design and installation, looking for a candidate experienced in high-risk sectors and willing to be based on one site in East Lothian. The ideal candidate will be NEBOSH qualified with hands-on health & safety experience.

Responsibilities:

• Promote a positive and proactive health & safety culture across the business
• Support the Health & Safety Manager in implementing the H&S strategy
• Assist site teams with RAMS and provide advice as needed
• Conduct site-based H&S audits and inspections
• Perform risk assessments and prepare method statements
• Create and deliver internal training programs

Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience in health & safety
• Experience in infrastructure, high-risk sectors, or manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to be based in East Lothian daily
• Aspirations to grow and develop in health & safety
