We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Health and Safety team as a Health and Safety Advisor.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across the organization, supporting the implementation of a health and safety strategy that ensures compliance with legislation within the Trust.

Working with the Health and Safety Manager, the post holder will lead the development and implementation of risk management strategies and health and safety policies across the Trust. The role involves fostering a risk-based culture, engaging with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, senior managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective health and safety management systems are in place to identify, manage, and mitigate risks.

Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in a senior NHS role, familiarity with health and safety legislation, complex risk assessments, and incident investigations including RIDDOR. The role requires leadership in health and safety risk management, contributing to operational delivery, compliance, and continuous improvement through audits.

The role requires proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools.
