A leading safety consultancy is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor based in Derby, with nationwide travel. The role involves conducting site safety inspections, leading safety investigations, and delivering safety briefings. A NEBOSH General Certificate and three years of rail-related Health & Safety experience are required. This position offers up to £40,000 salary, a company van, and comprehensive benefits including 25 days annual leave.

This isn’t a passive compliance role. You’ll be active on-site, working directly with operatives, subcontractors, and clients - not just observing safety but helping shape the culture around it. You’ll act as a leader, mentor, and trusted voice for safety - driving standards and behaviours that genuinely protect people.
The Role and About You
Based out of our Derby Head Office, you’ll travel nationally across our rail sites supporting teams to ensure a proactive and consistent safety presence. You’ll be a key figure in upholding and promoting our “Safety First, Safety Always” values and helping us deliver on client KPIs.
