Inspire Resourcing Ltd are looking for a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our clients team and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while promoting a safety culture.

The Health & Safety Advisor will support the site managers in all operations' health and safety. This role involves developing and implementing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation to create a safe and sustainable working environment.

Key Responsibilities - Health & Safety Coordinator:

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and company policies, maintaining up-to-date records of compliance.
  • Organise and conduct HSE training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety.
  • Investigate all HSE incidents and near misses, identifying root causes, and recommending preventive measures.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring all staff are trained on emergency procedures.
  • Implement and monitor environmental management programs to reduce waste, conserve energy, and minimize the company's environmental footprint.
  • Identify opportunities for improving HSE practices and processes, staying updated with the latest industry trends and regulations.

Skills - Health & Safety Coordinator:

  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within construction.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in NEBOSH or equivalent
