A local government organization in the United Kingdom is looking for a part-time Health and Fitness Officer assistant to deliver fitness classes and support facilities management. This role requires a commitment to serve the community and includes responsibilities such as conducting fitness assessments and ensuring safety protocols. Hours: 33.5 hours per week
To assist the Health and Fitness Officer in delivering studio and water based classes, control of facilities, inductions, fitness assessments, instruction and first aid where required.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
