Job summary

Educators invites applications for a Headteacher to lead Ysgol Cenarth and Ysgol Llechryd, two Welsh-medium primary schools at the heart of their communities.

The successful candidate will set a clear, ambitious vision, secure progress and continuous improvement, and foster a caring, inclusive culture that supports every learner.

This full-time post offers a L8-L14 pay scale (£62,612 – £72,579) with the start by 1 January 2027 and a requirement to pursue NPQH within 2 years.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to pursue NPQH within two years.
• Experience leading Welsh-medium primary schools is preferred.
• Ability to lead two schools and work with multi-site governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ysgol Cenarth and Ysgol Llechryd to secure progress and continuous improvement.
• Set a clear strategic direction and promote Welsh language and culture.
• Foster an inclusive, caring culture that places learner wellbeing at its core.
