Lincoln Minster School is an independent co-educational HMC school for pupils aged 4 – 18 years. The school is set within an idyllic, historic quarter of the city, overlooked by the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Head to lead our thriving Prep School. Located just a short walk from our Senior School site, Lincoln Minster Prep School was ranked in the UK top 40 (The Sunday Times 2023) and a finalist for Pupil Wellbeing in the national Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2023.

The Prep School caters for pupils up to the age of 11 years old and aims to provide first-class teaching and learning within a wonderfully dynamic and inspiring environment. The school’s ethos and culture is one of respect, support and trust, with the with the key priorities being to ensure that pupils are happy and achieve - and in that order.

You will lead a high performing Prep School team to deliver a vision which builds on existing strengths and further develops its relationship with the Senior School. Reporting directly to the Head of Lincoln Minster School and as a member of the whole school Senior Leadership Team, you will work strategically and collaboratively to develop the direction of the school, continuously seeking improvement and success in the face of the current challenges within education and society.

With a warm, approachable, and empathetic leadership style, you will be committed to building excellent relationships and will have the ability to inspire staff, pupils, parents, and prospective parents. You will combine a track record of successful strategic leadership experience with strong communication skills and a commitment to excellence in academic, pastoral and co-curricular provision.
