Job summary

Honley CE (VC) J I & N School in Honley is seeking an exceptional Headteacher to lead a thriving Church school at a pivotal moment. The post will guide the school through joining Trinity Multi Academy Trust while preserving its Christian ethos and strong community links.

Working with governors, the successful candidate will shape strategic direction, sustain high standards, and develop leadership across two sites and wraparound care facilities.

In January 2026 we announced our intention to become part of Trinity Multi Academy Trust. Trinity is a highly respected and growing family of 11 academies, spanning primary through to post-16 education, with a proven track record of transforming outcomes and making lasting differences to the lives of children and young people.

This is an exciting time to join Honley. Our school operates across two sites and includes a Daycare and Out of School Club, providing high-quality wraparound care for children from the age of two. As we begin this new chapter, we are seeking an exceptional leader to guide our school into its future.
