Forest House School is recruiting for a Head Teacher for a January 2026 start. We seek an outstanding relationship builder, capable of inspiring exceptional performance and maintaining a positive, enthusiastic learning environment for pupils and colleagues alike. The role involves leading and managing the development and implementation of the curriculum and education programmes through continuous improvement, while championing the Company’s ethos.

Forest House School provides specialist education for young people aged 13-16 with autism, ADHD, PDA, and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. Pupils may also have challenging behaviours related to communication difficulties and social understanding.
The successful candidate will join our strong and supportive network of Head Teachers. We are looking for someone with extensive senior leadership experience within a special school setting for young people with autism and SEMH needs, possessing the following characteristics:
