  • Salary: Up to £80,000.00 per annum
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About The Role

Are you an innovative Headteacher/Senior Leader committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Continuum and additional complex needs? This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring Headteacher to join our team.

As Headteacher, you will continue our vision of Thinking and Learning Differently, promoting high-quality, creative learning, and maximizing pupils' achievement while responding to their complex needs.

Who We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will exercise dynamic leadership of the school, ensuring the development and promotion of the school's vision and continuous improvement. You will create outstanding educational outcomes and drive our shared vision and strategic plan through inspirational leadership.

You will collaborate with the senior leadership team and the Regional Director to provide inclusive, high-quality educational and therapeutic provision.

Responsibilities include strategic leadership, maintaining high standards, and ensuring effective communication across the school.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship)
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Relevant Teaching Qualification
  • Experience working with children or young adults with autism and/or challenging behaviour
  • Proven leadership as a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher in a complex special needs setting
  • Understanding of Ofsted procedures and experience with School Improvement Partners
  • Effective budget management skills
