North Star 82°

Do you have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people? Are you an outstanding leader with the energy and enthusiasm to lead our primary school?

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity to an experienced senior leader who has a proven track record in leading and developing staff, initiating change, and driving improvement. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who is seeking a new challenge with opportunities to progress.

North Star 82° is a special school which provides 77 places for children of both sexes in the age range of 5-11 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is located in the north of Bristol and is easily accessible from the M4 and M5. Our primary school is situated in a 17th-century manor house surrounded by spacious grounds, providing children with the opportunity to develop skills both in the classroom and through structured activities outside.

All schools within the Trust have been rated "good" by OFSTED, and we are looking for an inspirational, supportive, and resilient leader to continue raising standards through monitoring and evaluating practices and actively developing teaching and learning within the school. This role will be challenging at times, and we are ideally seeking someone with practical experience working with SEMH students.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who can formulate strategy and make a significant impact on the school. You will be well-organized, able to work under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, and deliver results through a strong team.

In return for your expertise, we offer opportunities for professional development, career progression, a competitive salary, and an excellent pension scheme. Please contact the school and ask to speak with the CEO if you would like to have an informal discussion about the role and the chance to visit the school.
