Job summary

Lancashire County Council invites applications for a Headteacher at our Catholic school in the Rossendale Valley. The successful candidate will lead a safe, exciting centre of learning for our pupils and families, with a strong emphasis on faith values and community involvement.

We seek a practising Catholic with outstanding teaching, curriculum knowledge, SEND experience, and proven leadership. The role offers collaborative support from LCC, the diocese, and the local parish.

• Is an outstanding teacher with a strong record of excellent classroom practice.
• Is not afraid of a challenge and can think outside the box.
• Has a strong knowledge of the curriculum and adaptive teaching.
• Has a good grounding in SEND with a high percentage of SEND children on roll.
• Is a team player and enjoys leading a team.
• Can work alongside families and the community to make things better.
