Job description

At Island Veterinary Associates, we're seeking a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis for a 12-month maternity cover contract. In this role, you'll be based at our recently refurbished site in central Stafford, specifically at our Wombourne practice.

Rota patterns that work for you

Our people are at the heart of everything we do, which is why work-life balance is vital. Ideally, we are looking for someone to work 40 hours per week over 4 days, with 1:4 Saturdays (time in lieu provided). No out-of-hours or on-call duties are required. We support part-time applicants as well.

We are a friendly team that works well together. Our team includes 4 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs, and 6 support staff. The practice is equipped with excellent facilities, including an IDEXX lab and a top-of-the-range ultrasound machine.
