We have an excellent opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon looking to progress here at Alexander Vets. The successful candidate will oversee the general running of the practice with involvement in clinical work, operating, and consulting. You will work in tandem with the Practice Manager and Practice Director. We are looking for someone who will work alongside our experienced vets and give guidance and support within all clinical aspects of practice life.
This is a full-time position, working a 4-day week with 1:4 Saturday mornings only. There are no OOH requirements.
We are a well-equipped, family-friendly first opinion practice on the edge of the Lake District which has stunning scenery, amazing walks, and is near local beaches. Our practice has all the latest lab, X-ray, laser, and ultrasound equipment. Preventative health care and case continuity are important to us, meaning you will build a great relationship with both clients and their pets.
We are a friendly, close, and inclusive team that promotes a supportive culture. The practice consists of 2 vets, 3 RVNs, a soon-to-be SVN, and a dedicated reception team.
