A fantastic leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern, purpose-built practice in Doncaster as Head Vet. This role focuses on driving clinical excellence, guiding the development of the team, and delivering the highest standards of patient care.

The Head Vet will form a key part of the management team, leading clinical standards, supporting the progression of colleagues, and helping shape the practices strategic direction. Candidates should be confident in a leadership role and passionate about evidence-based veterinary care.

Key Details:

  • 4-day working week with 1 in 4 weekends.

  • No OOH, but on-call support required for overnight inpatients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the clinical team to deliver gold-standard care.

  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical standards and service delivery.

  • Coach and mentor team members, sharing expertise and skills.

  • Contribute to management decisions as part of the leadership team.
