We are a thriving practice with an excellent reputation in the community and are looking for an individual to join us as Head Receptionist. We encourage all our staff to deliver outstanding care to both the client and their pets and perform their job to the fullest.

Responsibilities
  • As Head Receptionist, you will oversee the reception team, ensuring daily tasks are completed in a timely manner, whilst managing your own admin duties and making sure that a great level of customer service is maintained and delivered to all clients.
  • You will provide a link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
  • Your great client service during a client’s visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
  • You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently.
  • Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must. Organise Pre-payments to be taken under the practice payment policy.
  • Bank Holidays are required on a rota basis / Weekend Working is required Sat 8am-17:30 / Sun 10-16:30 on a rota basis. Shifts may vary on a Bank Holiday.
  • You will arranging Rota’s for your team
  • You will help facilitate concerns with Customers prior to any escalation
Requirements
  • This is a Full Time role working 40 hours per week (Shift patterns may vary between an 8- to 10-hour day).
