Medivet Kidlington is recruiting a Head Nurse to lead the nursing team during maternity leave. You will ensure exceptional patient and client care, oversee nursing activities, and maintain high regulatory and operational standards.

Qualifications

• RCVS registration as a Veterinary Nurse is required.
• Experience in leading a team to deliver patient care and client service is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead nurse-led appointments, schedule 3 activities, and support consults, surgeries and procedures.
• Monitor patient care, manage admissions and discharges.
• Provide clinical leadership and development to the nursing team.

As a Head Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory, practice and operational standards and compliance.

Medivet Kidlington is a 2 Vet practice, 4 RVN, 2 VCA, and 1 CCA and is now looking to recruit a Head Nurse for Maternity leave join their team. This role would suit someone looking to be a in supportive environment and develop in their career.

The role

• Full-time: 40 hours across 4 daysor 5 days
• 1 in 6 weekends at Woodstock 24 Hour

What you’ll be doing

Typically, in this role, you’ll:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients, leading nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities, supporting consults, surgeries and procedures, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
• Deliver patient monitoring and care, and manage admissions and discharges
• Deliver exceptional care to your clients
• Provide clinical leadership, inspiration and development to the nursing team
