Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care at Sampson Park Vets in Thrapston is seeking a proactive Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team. You’ll shape day-to-day practice operations while staying hands-on with nursing and patient care.

You’ll lead a small team of RVN, VCA and reception staff, mentor colleagues, and drive nursing standards, governance and quality of care across the clinic. Flexible working options are welcomed for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Strong nursing skills and clinical practice experience.
• Ability to mentor or lead colleagues and support a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of RVN, VCA and reception colleagues.
• Oversee nursing standards, governance and patient care.
• Support coaching of student nurses and contribute to professional development.
