Job Title: Head Nurse

As the Head Nurse, you will have a pivotal role in managing the nursing team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Nursing Team Management: Overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff, ensuring efficient workflows and a positive working environment.
  2. Rota Management: Maintaining appropriate stock levels, ensuring all necessary supplies are available, and organizing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage.
  3. Student Training and Organization: Mentoring and guiding Student Veterinary Nurses, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support throughout their development.
  4. Performance Appraisal: Monitoring and evaluating staff performance, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
  5. Meeting Coordination: Arranging and leading regular team meetings to foster communication and teamwork.
  6. Clinical Coaching: Providing clinical guidance and support to uphold the highest standards of care.
