A luxury hotel in Wales is looking for a Head Therapist to lead the Spa Therapists and ensure high standards of service. The role involves managing daily spa operations, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining health and safety standards. Candidates should have a Level 3 qualification in Beauty and First Aid certification. Experience in a senior spa position is preferred.
Located in Llandrindod Wells within the beautiful Elan Valley.

The Head Therapist will guide the team of the Spa Therapists to run a welcoming, relaxing leisure space.
The Head Therapist will ensure that all daily operations of the spa are delivered to the highest standard, they will ensure that treatment rooms are welcoming and tranquil and that Health & Safety standards are met across the Spa.
The Head Therapist will ensure efficient and accurate diary management to maximise revenue in the Spa and will support as required to maintain accurate membership records.
The role requires someone who is either a Spa specialist with a Level 3 qualification in Beauty, and experience of a senior position within a Spa would be advantageous.
The Head Therapist will ensure that all processes are followed within the Spa and that they work with colleagues to do the same, as one team you will also interact with all other colleagues across the hotel.
Job Overview:
As the Head Therapist, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Spa including, facilities, budgets, training and revenue. Your role will include leading a team of Spa Therapists to ensure a high standard of service. You will focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience, driving revenue, and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
Experience & Qualifications
• Level 3 beauty Therapy
• First Aid qualified.
• Previous experience in a similar leisure, fitness, or hospitality role is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a spa environment.
• Pool Responder (NPLQ or equivalent or willingness to obtain)
