An exciting opportunity has arisen in Blairgowrie, a large town situated sixteen miles north of Perth and nineteen miles northwest of Dundee.
Applications are invited for the post of Head Teacher & Campus Leader at Newhill Primary School, Blairgowrie Community Campus.
The Head Teacher will provide vision and direction to ensure high standards of education and leadership of learning. We seek someone capable of leading our school community, developing learning and teaching, and ensuring all pupils achieve their full potential.
Ideally, you will have experience in a senior leadership position with a full understanding of leading improvement across a school. You should be able to discuss your leadership skills and the impact of improvement activities on learner outcomes. Experience in leading a team, including guiding working groups or staff teams to drive improvement, is essential.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of our larger urban schools. Currently, Newhill has fifteen classes and a large Nursery. You will be supported by an experienced school leadership team, including three Depute Head Teachers and a Principal Early Childhood Practitioner, along with your QIO, a peer Head Teacher, and access to induction and leadership programs.
