Are you a visionary leader with a proven track record of inspiring change and transforming lives? We are seeking an exceptional Head Teacher to lead our unique alternative provision in Burnley. This is a rare and rewarding opportunity to shape the future of a school and its community.

This is a temporary-to-permanent role, offering the stability of a long-term position and the autonomy to lead from the front. We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join us in October 2025 or sooner.

About the Role

As the Head Teacher, you will be the driving force behind our school's mission. Our alternative provision serves students who have faced significant barriers to learning and who require a flexible, holistic, and supportive educational environment. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the school, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, safeguarding, and well-being.

We are looking for a leader who is more than just a manager. You will be a mentor, a strategist, and a role model for both staff and students. This role is open to both qualified teachers (with QTS) and unqualified leaders with extensive experience in a related field, such as youth work, social services, or therapeutic education. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the school's vision, ensuring it provides high-quality, alternative education that meets the needs of every student.
