Head Stylist (Dog Groomer) – Rushden – 39 Hours

Who are we?

We’re Pets at Home – if you love pets, you might already know about our Pet Care Centres, which include Pets Grooming salons and Vets for Pets practices around the UK.

What’s the role?

Our Head Stylists are crucial to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You will be responsible for all aspects of pet grooming, confidently delivering high-standard, thorough grooms. As Head Stylist, you will lead by example with a hands-on approach, setting the grooming standards within the salon. You will oversee grooming quality, handle advanced grooming requests, upskill team members, and motivate your team—all while ensuring a great customer experience and driving business results.

We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to help you deliver service that aligns with our goal of being the 'Best Pet Care Business in the World'. You’ll enjoy a competitive base salary, opportunities to earn through our Earn As You Learn programmes, and additional pay supplements through extra training.

Who are we looking for?

1. Passionate about delivering excellent service.
2. Flexible, with the ability to work a flexible shift pattern across 6 days a week (we are closed on Sundays).
3. Confident and knowledgeable in dog grooming, styles/trends, and able to complete high-standard grooms on various breeds from start to finish.
4. Experience working in a customer-facing salon environment.
5. Preferably experienced in target-driven environments, but willing to work in one if not.
