North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Head Sports Coach (Gymnastics) to oversee sport projects and coaching experiences for young people. The role requires UKCC Gymnastics Level 2, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to professional development. 14.75 hours per week
Based within our venues in North Lanarkshire, you will manage the effective operation of our sport projects and ensure the team provides an efficient coaching experience for all young people within the programme. Reporting to the Sports Development & Participation Officer, you will provide weekly reports while adhering to the company’s policies and procedures.
Educated to UKCC Gymnastics Level 2, you will have a good knowledge of managing and developing a range of programmes, experience of supervising staff, and a background of partnership working.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times, are essential for this role.
Successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.
Work Pattern:
Monday 6pm to 7.45pm, Tuesday to Thursday 3.10pm to 6.40pm, Saturday 8.55 am to 11.40 am

*Casual/sessional roles are paid at 12.1% of the hourly rate for each hour worked, which compensates for annual leave and public holidays. Payments are made separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for hours worked.
