The Role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels valued and supported, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team training.
  • Maintain spotless food, health, and safety standards; understand financial metrics such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working closely with the Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What We Look For:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Strong knowledge of food, health, safety standards, and financial management in a kitchen setting.
  • Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
